Work resumes at D-200 schools

Have you been wondering what has been going on with construction at District 200 schools?

Pickets were pulled and workers have returned to the construction sites at the five District 200 schools where the life safety work had shut down. Although the accord struck Monday has not been signed yet, pickets were removed in a good-faith show by the unions.

Schools are expected to open on time for the 2010-2011 school year. The first day of school is scheduled for August 19.
