Ill./Wisc. = 33% of H1N1 Cases

The total number of confirmed cases of swine flu in the U.S. jumped over 3,000 in today's 11:00AM report by the CDC, hitting 3,009.

The combined total of 991 confirmed cases in Illinois and Wisconsin accounts for 33% of the confirmed cases in the entire United States. There must be some underlying message in this total, but I don't hear anyone talking about it. Are they?

The top six States for reported cases are:

554 Illinois
437 Wisonsin
206 Texas
193 California
192 New York
187 Arizona

These top six States account for 59% of the reported cases.
