Beth Bentley, a Woodstock mother, wife, friend to many and reported "ATM" to some, vanished sometime between May 20-23, 2010. She was reported missing on May 24 to Woodstock Police.
The missing person flyer posted November 11, 2010, on the Woodstock Police Department website is still there. It still reads that she was dropped off at the Centralia (Ill.) train station about 6:00PM on May 23, 2010. But was she?
One person says so. That's Jennifer Wyatt.
Others in southern Illinois might know but are keeping their mouths shut. Beth and Jenn had, reportedly, gone to Mount Vernon late on May 20 and had visited two brothers, Ryan and Nathan Ridge. What do they have to say? Nothing. Nothing at all. No public comment has ever surfaced from them.
Did Woodstock Police question them? Did Mount Vernon Police or Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies or investigators question them?
Did anyone ever analyze the stories given by Jenn, Ryan and Nathan? Were they ever re-interviewed?
Is this really still a Missing Person case? In most missing persons cases there is considerable and ongoing outcry by family members. Police continually offer information about efforts to find the missing person. But not in this case.
When you start putting the pieces of this puzzle together, including the silence of friends, Friends and, importantly, family, no picture emerges. That means, some pieces are missing. Who is looking for the missing pieces?

I know you are! Keep it up Gus.
Many a case has been solved with the persistence that you are showing here. I hope that the WPD or whomever is working this case is also doing this.
Keep up the good work in keeping this alive. Even if it is only on this blog site. :)
