MCC Trustees - hiding out?

When you go to the McHenry County College website and hunt around for the Board of Trustees (hint: scroll to the bottom), don't expect to find individual email addresses for the trustees. All you will find is a "group" email address of mcctrustees@mchenry.edu

Hopefully, that email address is set up with automatic forwarding to each of the trustees so that, when you address a message to it, all of the trustees receive it without any manual attention (or interference or delay) by College administrative staff.

Wouldn't it be nice to see their individual email addresses under their names? And why not? They have taken on a public role. You might wish to give your opinion or suggestion to one or more of them, without giving it to all.

Who are the trustees and when do their terms expire?

Exercise your privilege and right today to address them about the April 16 Special Meeting. Will they actually try to sneak through a change or extension of President Vicky Smith's contract, instead of leaving any decision to the new Board that will work with and direct her during the months and years ahead?
