A charity motorcycle run is being organized to benefit the food pantries of Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills and Carpentersville. And maybe it's not even limited to motorcycles. So polish up the 'vette or the MG or the Austin-Healey or the Jag, and join right in.

Gus,
You bitch when the police block traffic or escort funerals or returning military personnel. Where are you going to stand when the police block traffic or escort these motorcycles as they often do?
You can count on me to be an Equal Opportunity Bitcher, if the Rules of the Road are not followed during this ride or if the cops block traffic or escort this run.
I myself don't like motorcycle runs, because too often the first bike might stop at a stop sign, and then the 25 behind it all go through on the first bike's stop. All motorcyclists need to obey all the laws and also be mindful of the noise they generate.
That's why I won't ride with the pack, when I go on a charity run.
Wow This is so stupid I don't know where to begin, "Lets all Go road drinking in the name of Charity"
you want to help the food pantry send them a donation. and don't use Charity as an excuse for drinking and driving.
when law enforcement and common sense says don't drink and drive,
I thought the charity Pub Crawl was bad but this one is worse. 138 miles to and from bars. Now I know there are some who say they are not gong to the Taverns to drink, I say B.S. that would be like saying you go to the whore house to listen to the music. Baird and Warner should know better than this and should be held accountable for any mishaps along the way.
