Zacatecas to visit Woodstock

Woodstock School District 200 will be visited by representatives from Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico on Monday and Tuesday. You may know that Woodstock and the City of Zacatecas are sister cities.

Zacatecas is also the area where I believe the McHenry County Sheriff's Department sent deputies for a cultural exchange program and from which Mexican police officers visited McHenry County. Little information reached the public about that exchange; just what did the MCSD deputies learn and how did they share it with the other deputies and the corrections officers in the jail?

And what did the Mexican police officers learn while they were here and what was the expected use of that information when they returned?

Will the visitors be lodged in private homes and dine in those homes on the local fare, or will they be lodged at Woodstock bed-and-breakfast inns? Or, for the real flavor of Woodstock, will they stay in area motels and eat at 3 Brothers and Angelo's (or some of the Mexican eateries in Woodstock)?
