Recently the following question was asked and reader response was invited. The question?
“Do you know someone who uses heroin?"
Thanks for the 45 readers who responded. The responses?
Yes – 16 (36%)
No – 29 (64%)
My opinion? When 36% of readers know someone who uses a dangerous drug, this is a huge problem. The problems are the users, the dealers and those with knowledge of what is occurring.
As you might guess, I have zero tolerance for illegal drugs.

Of course the problem is Heroin. There is literally no one on the planet who believes that the problem is complicated and involves the way we raise our children, the way we make choices and the expected consequences of those choices. All they say is make it "illegal".
Except me.
If it wasn't heroin, it would be Drano, if it wasn't Drano, it would be gasoline, if it wasn't gasoline it would be PAM, of course we could outlaw all of them, then it would be asphixiation.
Gus, you have zero tolerance for "illegal" drugs because you have zero tolerance for trying to figure out a complex problem.
And as the last 50 years clearly demonstrates .... making something illegal (that people use for escape) really has "zero" effect.
Do you know anyone ... I mean anyone ... who doesn't use drugs, etc. because they can't get them. Of course you don't
Have all the 50 years of laws and "zero tolerance" reduced drug use? Show me. (My mother is from Missouri-the "show me" state.)
