Beth Bentley - gone 11 weeks tomorrow

Do you know there are still many people in Woodstock and in McHenry County who do not know that a 41-year-old Woodstock mother has been missing for 11 weeks???
What can you do?
Forward this message to five people (or more) in McHenry County or in Illinois. Use the little white envelope at the bottom of this article. (No notice is taken nor record kept of any email address you use, whether yours or a recipient's.)
Read the Facebook page ("BETH BENTLEY...Missing Woodstock, IL Woman!") topics.
Also, go to www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5483648#post5483648 for the sixth "thread"; to read the WebSleuths.com information from the beginning, you can start with (or go back to ) the first thread.
Woodstock Police have issued only two press releases; the first was dated May 27 and the second, June 9. Since then, not a peep in writing.
Considerable personal information has not reached the public that could help in solving this case. The police seem to be treating this only as a missing-person case, since background information is not being released. And while the focus ought to be on locating her whereabouts, it's the background information that could attract wider public attention and involvement and, thus, lead to finding her. Without that, could the case be headed for the back of the bottom drawer of the filing cabinet under "Zero Interest"?
What is happening to all the tips being turned into CrimeStoppers and the Woodstock Police? According to Chief Lowen, Woodstock PD is the lead agency in investigating her disappearance. Is all of that information reaching the Mt. Vernon Police Department, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and the investigator at the Illinois State Police? Are there weekly team meetings or conference calls to share information?
Should tips be provided simultaneously to a private investigator or a second investigatory organization that could run a little faster with tips?
The stagnant Reward fund, stuck for weeks at $5,000 (including a reported $2,000 from CrimeStoppers) and without promotion or publicity, has people asking questions even about it. A local bank account was created to receive contributions to the Reward Fund, but the Reward has not increased. The Trust was offered for reading, but it has never been made available after it was requested.
More than a few Facebook followers requested transparency of the Reward Fund and were told that information would be available, but it hasn't been provided. Normally, it would be expected that a Trust would be a private legal instrument, but that changed when it was offered for inspection. Perhaps it should never have been offered by those close to the Reward Fund (not the fundraiser at Gus's (no relation) Roadhouse).
