From Dayton, Ohio
You can read the whole story (almost) in the Northwest Herald.
Suppose Nygren wishes now that he had not canceled the August Merit Commission meeting? Pyle is still getting his 7 grand a month. Maybe he'll get a raise to pay his increased legal bill.
Is Nygren still holding Pyle's job in the evidence room open for when he is found not guilty and wants to return to work?
What happened to the computer equipment that WFRD fished out of that pond last January?

Know your facts! He is not getting paid. The pay he was getting was for vacation and sick pay he had earned which has ended. Also he quit the day he was arrested by the feds. Again you show you really dont know what you post about.
Why is it that I don't believe Pyle had seven (7) months of accrued vacation time and benefits? There are those who believe he did NOT work ten years without ever taking a vacation day.
And doesn't MCSD have a use-it-or-lose it policy?
In any event, accrued benefits should have been accurately calculated and paid out in a lump sum - AFTER he quit.
Nygren is going to "let" him resign? What a crock! Refuse his resignation and fire him. Create the alerts so that any future employer will know to ask a LOT of questions.
And don't forget how Nygren NEVER went to the Merit Commission. Never disciplined Pyle. Never stopped his pay.
There is an easy way to find out, FOIA the sheriff's payroll records and the treasurer's payment made to this guy. It would not be unusual to pay someone on administrative leave pending discilplie. I know someone who was paid full salary for over a year while the merit board in another county went through thie discipline process
Thanks, Mike. It would be great if we had an investigative newspaper reporter around here. We don't. You know, like somebody who gets paid for digging out all the dirt.
That would be you BUSTER!
