Pennsylvania couple thanks ObamaCare - NOT!

"Obamacare." National health insurance? Socialized medicine? What is it?

Did you read the Associated Press (AP) article, reprinted in the Northwest Herald today, about the Pennsylvania couple getting taken to the cleaners by Obamacare? If you didn't, be sure to read "Sticker shock often follows insurance cancellation."

The Pennsylvania couple is being sorely abused by the health insurance scheme cooked up by Obama and Congress. This is the one that Democratic leaders said Congress had to approve in order to understand it. Yeah, sure.

The Griffins had a health insurance policy with a $2,500 deductible, for which they were paying a premium of $770/month. That alone would be unaffordable by many.

But get this? Because their policy didn't met certain benefit requirements under the new law, their policy is being canceled.

What's available to them under Obamacare?

The cheapest replacement they found is a policy with a $12,700 deductible, for which the premium would be $1,275/month.

How does that compare?

The deductible is 400% higher.

And they can't even continue to see their own doctors, who are across the state line in Delaware.

The monthly premium is 65% higher!

The AP article says they are considering just paying the $100 penalty for not being insured. What would you do?

You know the quickest way to get Obamacare repealed or defunded? Force members of Congress to be covered by it, not by their super-perk as members of Congress.
