Parenting Teen-Age Boys - Workshop Sept. 20

A flyer at MCC advertises a workshop for raising teen-age boys. Do you have a teen-ager or know someone who does?

Gale Dreas, LCSW, author of Toolbox Parenting: The Most Practical Guide to Raising Teenage Boys You'll Ever Read, will be at MCC on Thursday, Sept. 20, 7:00-9:00PM. The workshop will be conducted in the Employee Dining Room, B-177.

To register. Call MCC at (815) 455-8588. Register for Course # NCC S02 001 and pay $18.00 by credit card. Then be there.

... and you are posting this information because??? Are you hinting to us that you are going to be a grandfather?

To the poster of the 8:21PM comment. You might want to talk to your lawyer about the definition and legal consequences of libel. If you had any guts, you would post comments above your own name. If you'd like to meet me at high noon one of these days, meet me at 656 Lake Avenue.

The 8:21PM comment was deleted, because it was incorrect and libelous. It also had nothing to do with the posting of information about a workshop at MCC that could be quite valuable for parents of teen-age boys.

The workshop at MCC was excellent. There were about eight women there and one man. Too bad there weren't about 20 women and 20 men. The speaker, Gail A. Dreas, knows her stuff. If you have, or will have, a teenager in your house, check out her book on amazon.com The title is Toolbox Parenting. You'll be ahead if you buy the book and use her suggestions. You might know many of them already, but using them is the key.
