A SHORT POEM YOU WON'T FORGET
"A bump in the road" .... remember that calloused statement? I don't know the author of this poem.. Received it today.
Very thought provoking and poignant. I do recall, however, the
President referring to the Benghazi incident as "a bump in the road." Today
I heard an ex-Navy Seal being interviewed on Fox News regarding a book
he has written about how to handle crisis situations in our lives. At
the end of the interview he asked if he could make a comment on Benghazi
and of course the anchor said yes. He then thanked Fox News for keeping
the Benghazi story in the news, since other news organizations are not.
He said the Seals who died deserve the public knowing the truth about
the whole affair.
The poem was written by a MARINE CORPS Officer (ANON).
THE BATTLING BOYS OF BENGHAZI
We're the battling boys of Benghazi
No fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell
Defending our country we loved so well.
It wasn't our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the Consulate and scaled the wall.
We pulled twenty Countrymen from the jaws of fate
Led them to safety, and stood at the gate.
Just the two of us, and foes by the score,
But we stood fast to bar the door.
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied,
So we fought, and we fought, and we fought 'til we died.
We gave our all for our Uncle Sam,
But Barack Obama didn't give a damn.
Just two dead seals who carried the load
No thanks to us.........we were just "Bumps In The Road".
But Barack Obama didn't give a damn.
Just two dead seals who carried the load
No thanks to us.........we were just "Bumps In The Road".
Well, I for one do NOT accept Clinton's statement!!! Those five words should make it impossible for her ever to serve in public office again!

I saw the results of a poll last week in which they said that the two most respected people in America today are Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Neither one are fit to hold office and we must do everything we can to keep her out of the White House even if it meant a vote for Chris Christie. She is a vile, low life, detestable sack of dung that would be the final nail in our countries coffin were she to win her almost certain run for the Presidency.
Big Daddy, sure glad I didn't see that poll. You're joking, right? Obama and Clinton, the two most-respected people in America?
Before I read your comment today, I thought about my hope that this country can survive to the Jan. 20th at the end of King Obama's Reign.
If Clinton runs and wins, should I stay and fight and just move out of the USA?
It may have been on MSNBC as I watch them a lot as I want to know what my enemy is thinking. If Clinton wins which I think is a real possibility, I don't know what to do. I've thought about leaving the country but where would I go? What about my family, my friends? What's the best country to go to? I have heard this conversation before. I know one guy who is thinking of buying hundreds of thousands of acres in a country south of the equator with the idea of establishing a new country. Would it work? Don't know. I do know that he has the means to do it and that the government of that country is friendly to his idea. Would I, should I?I' entertaining the idea. We shall see. Hopefully it wont get to that. Hopefully we will defeat this plague that is destroying our nation.
Panama, Ecuador, Belize, Costa Rica. All good possibilities.
Obama, Clinton, Biden, Holder, Pelosi and, locally, Quinn, Emanuel and gang - Can the USA survive them?
