If you are planning to go to the Woodstock City Council meeting tomorrow night, don't.
No, it is not canceled due to cold weather. There is no meeting on the first Tuesday of a new year.
The only City Council meeting in January will be held on Tuesday, January 21.
No doubt residents of Woodstock will be there to express their continued disappointment with the City Council.
And perhaps the resident who addressed the September 16th meeting of the Woodstock Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will show up and address the City Council. If a sign language interpreter is needed, all you have to do is inform the City Manager ahead of time. Or bring your written statement, and another resident or I shall be happy to read it for you.
Watch for availability of the Agenda for the January 21 meeting on January 17. It can be viewed at City Hall or at the Woodstock Public Library, usually after 1:00PM. The Agenda itself will be online, but the supporting documentation is not made available online.
McHenry County College broadcasts its Board of Trustees meeting. Do you think the Woodstock City Council should broadcast its meetings on Comcast's public service channel or stream them live on the internet?
