New voting law to help Zane Seipler

Having blasted the new law that almost forces a voter to cast a vote in every race, I'm having second thoughts.

Maybe, just maybe, this new law was designed to help Zane Seipler win the Republican Primary for Sheriff of McHenry County.

For all those silent Republicans who don't want to speak out against the incumbent sheriff, but aren't 100% sure they want to vote for Zane, now they will be less able to avoid choosing.

Are they willing to face the humiliation and embarrassment of a "Hey, you!" as they step out of the booth, or will they vote for Seipler because they will not vote for Nygren?

Every cloud has a silver lining. Right?
