Cook county Board President - Go Green!

Ya gotta see this!

Visit the website for Tom Tresser, Green Party candidate for President of the Cook County Board. Get ready to retire, Todd Stroger!

Go to http://www.tom2010.us/

Tom "charged President Stroger and the Daley-Madigan Machine with running Cook County government like a private ATM, dispensing cash, jobs and contracts to friends, family and cronies. President Stroger was aggrieved and denied there was any corruption in Cook County."

Hey, Tom. Don't pick on poor, ol' Todd. (Of course, he's neither poor nor old.) And shame on you, for "aggrieving" him. Bad, bad...

No corruption in what people call Crook County? Give me a break!

As a former pilot, I watched the news as Meigs Field got shut down in the middle of the night and a runway disabled and taken out of use, in spite of its being on the aeronatical charts in use by many pilots. Of course, that wasn't Stroger's doing. Was Daley charged with a crime and prosecuted by the FAA? Ha-ha.

And did we hear, out here in the boonies, about the arrest of Charles Flowers, superintendent of the Cook County Regional Office of Education, on charges of allegedly using taxpayer-funded credit cards for personal use and placing his sister and girlfriend on his payroll?

That's what Chicagoans have to deal with.

For how many elected officials in Chicago do taxpayer funds equal personal piggy banks?

Go, Tom! And good luck!

Hey, thanks for the words of encouragement. But it will take MUCH more than words to defeat Da Machine. I need help, I need dollars - I am NOT taking contributions from corporations, PACs or unions. In other words - I'm only raising money from the CITIZENS who I will work for. This is the only way to ensure our elected reps work for us and not the special interests who pay their bills.

So come on Gus and anyone else who reads this. Call me at 312-276-5432 and pitch in. Together (and only together) we can take BACK our local government from these clowns!

Note to readers and McHenry County neighbors.

Sure, Tom is in Chicago, but we are affected by Da Machine.

You can help Tom by donating to his campaign, even if you are a McHenry County resident (or anywhere). If 1,000 readers donate $10 each, that would help a lot. I'll start.
