Voters: what are your questions?

In my campaign for Sheriff of McHenry County, I intend to ask voters and other residents, and Sheriff's Department employees, what it is that they want.

Usually, politicians stand up and tell you what they are going to do for you. That's when you grab your wallets and worry about what they are going to do to you.

So, what do you want to know?

What do you want?

The current sheriff has $120,000+ in his war chest to buy ads and send junk mail to you.

Democratic candidate Mike Mahon is raising money, a lot of it in Chicago fundraisers.

My campaign? I don't intend to buy any votes. Votes for me will come because voters want honesty and transparency in the Office of Sheriff, not because they are offered pencils or pads at trade show booths.

NO corporate contributions will be accepted.

If you are sick and tired of the many lawsuits that have been filed against the Sheriff's Department or the insane expenditure of taxpayer dollars in vendettas against fired employees, then start asking questions.

Please use the comment box below to ask your questions.

Lets start with these..........

What are your qualifications?

What changes will you make?

What lawsuits will you be able to stop?

Other than spewing innuendo, giving specifics, what issues do you see that needs to be changed?

Good, reasonable questions posed, Gus. Do you intend to answer them?

Sure do, Mike.

Gus we're still waiting. Or maybe your list of qualifications is so extensive that it takes over 4 hours to compile.

John, what is it that allows you to assume that I am expected to answer your question, or a question from anyone else, within any specific period of time?

GUS I'M JUST HOLDING YOU TO THE SAME STANDARDS YOU HOLD EVERYONE ELSE TO.
