Remember the book, Everything you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask, about (what was it?)? Oh, I remember...
On Wednesday, June 19, at the Woodstock Public Library there will be a presentation and discussion about hypnotherapy and hypnosis. It'll be safe - no one is going to cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog.
Gus Philpott (that's me (or, more correctly, that is I)) will provide information and answer questions about hypnosis and hypnotherapy and explain the difference. Philpott began his study and work with the late Dr. Irene Hickman (1915-2002), an osteopathic physician who started using hypnotherapy in her California medical practice in 1950. Philpott met her in 1988 and studied and worked with her in 1992-93.
The program will start at 7:15PM in the training room on the lower level (elevator service is available) and will conclude at 8:30PM. Bring your questions. Questions often include: Can everyone be hypnotized? Why would a person want to be hypnotized? What if you don't wake up? How long does it take? How much does it cost? Will I remember anything?
The program is open to the public and there is no charge.
Philpott's new book, The Healing Power of Hypnotherapy, was recently released and is available on www.Amazon.com at $4.99 (Kindle).19
