Flags not raised...

When organizations, such as banks, lower the U.S. Flag in accordance with orders from the President of the U.S. or the Governor, they should note carefully when the flag-lowering order expires and be certain to raise the Flag back to the top of the mast.

The flags at Mercy Woodstock and American Community Bank were still at half-staff this morning, although last week's flag-lowering order expired at dusk on Sunday.

As you continue to be mindful of the importance of the U.S. Flag's flying high at the top of the staff (flagpole or mast), why not call any business or government office that fails to raise the flag in a timely manner and remind them to raise it.

The orders to lower are clear. They provide a Start time and an End time.
