Thanks to a bailiff

My thanks to Judge Prather's bailiff (court security officer) who, this morning, politely and quietly spoke to an attorney who was starting a conversation with a client while Judge Prather was hearing a matter. And thanks to the attorney, who then took his client to the vestibule for their conversation.

I wanted to thank the bailiff this morning, but he left the courtroom shortly after the court recessed.

Judge Prather calls cases in a loud, firm voice, but voices still drop below audible hearing throughout the courtroom, once attorneys and their clients are in front of her.

I wonder what it will take in McHenry County for all courtrooms to be wired with speakers and the voices amplified, so that all can hear everything.
