Thanks to the Citizens Utility Board website (www.citizensutilityboard.org) I learned that an effort had been made in Congress to postpone the mandatory conversion of analog TV signal reception planned for February 17.
According to the CUB website, the Senate voted unanimously to delay the change-over until June 12; however, the House needed a 2/3 majority to postpone it, and that did not happen.
If your TV goes dark on February 17, now you'll know why. If that digital converter is sitting on the top shelf in your closet, it's almost time to connect it.
