A story beginning to circulate over the week-end is that the shooter in the Clackamas, Oregon mall on December 11 was interrupted by a young man with a concealed carry permit. It may turn out that, when the armed citizen drew on the shooter, he committed suicide with his own gun.
MSN.com reported that Nick Meli, the legally-armed citizen, was in the mall and near the shooter. He drew on the shooter but didn't fire, because of shoppers in the mall behind the shooter. The shooter's rifle apparently had jammed. When the shooter saw Meli with his weapon, the shooter killed himself.
How many people did Meli save?
Where is the news about the responsible and good use of a weapon being carried concealed?

How could he have killed himself if his rifle jammed?
Well, I guess maybe he got it unjammed.
Why don't you know for sure? I'm interested in the whole story.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enter "Nick Meli" in a search engine and read the results. Good luck.
