One taqueria - comin' up!

First it was Tip Top Cafe. And maybe the Tip Top Cafe wasn't even the first restaurant on the corner of Main St. and Cass St. in Woodstock. But Tip Top Cafe became famous in the Groundhog Day movie.

Who knows what restaurant was there before the Tip Top Cafe? Anyone?

And since?

The most recent food effort there was A.B.C. - Athenian Broiled Chicken. ABC had some trouble getting open. Some reports to me were that the chicken was good and the prices were reasonable.

A taqueria is headed this way now. Good luck! In a Main St. window is a hand-lettered sign with "Proximamente!" Well, okay; but how soon?

Wouldn't it be nice if operators of new businesses gave a little hint of just when the business might open?
