Yesterday the count was 642 confirmed cases. Today at 11:00AM it was 896. As more test results become available, perhaps it is normal to expect such an increase.
In Illinois the number of confirmed cases increased from 122 to 204 (still under the 225 number reported by a McHenry County Health Department nurse to the Board of Health last night. Maybe she knows something that the CDC doesn't know?
You can follow the changes at www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu. They changed the chart to a map, but the chart is still available behind a link.
Remember: Cover that cough. And don't cough into your hands. Use a tissue and discard it properly. Or cough into your sleeve.
