This film opened in numerous theaters around the country on 1-2 day showings. Check out the movie's website for a listing of places and dates.
I missed the local showing and spotted a theater two hours away. Then I decided to get the movie on Google Play, and the choice was rent or buy. So I bought for $12.99 and watched it immediately online. Plus now I own it and I can watch it as many times as I wish.

If you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift for a horse-lover among your friends and family (or yourself), grab this movie.

Thanks Gus. I love movies like this. My buddy owns horses and loves them. I'll share it with him.
There will be two showings in December in Illinois: Dec. 4 (only) in Wheaton, and Dec. 12 (only) in Orland Park. Theaters and times can be found on www.harryandsnowman.com
For me a better deal was GooglePlay. It's one that I'll watch again (and again), like The World's Fastest Indian and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
I forgot about this post but was browsing Netflix last night and saw this movie there. You were right, it is a good movie and story.
Big Daddy, glad you enjoyed it. I grew up around them. One of them, Old Billy, had been a St. Louis PD horse, gentle as could be.
