Neighborhood Appreciation

The north side of Woodstock was plastered with posters yesterday, thanking USPS mail carrier John for his service. John's last day on the job was Saturday.

The many signs are a testimonial to John's conscientious delivery of the mail. I don't know John, but he must have been one of those who delivered through rain and sleet and mud and snow. Literally, from the looks of some of the yards.

I happened to drive past John as he returned to his postal vehicle yesterday and called out to add my thanks to those of his customers. Wish I had taken his picture.

Hope you had a nice party at the Red Mill Inn, John. Thanks for your years of service!
