Many thanks to all the hard-working snow crews from Woodstock, the County and the State. They put in long hours to clear the roads. They probably worked all night, and this morning's crew on Jefferson near the Square not only was working hard to remove the huge pile of snow in the intersection by Harris Bank, they were being careful of cars passing by.
Thanks, drivers, for looking behind the large front-end loaders before you backed up.

I'm really surprized that you are not bitching about the lousy job of snow removal and the lack of foresight by the powers that be dealing with the dearth of salt.Go figure.
Yes Gus, you're right on! I saw the Public Works Director (Dale Behm) directing traffic and organizing all the sdnow removal on the Square. He really knows wos what he's doning and is a good engineer too! My feeind Robby M. says that he really knows his tuff and that "he da' man". Snoozer
OMG! Gus, did you sneak off to Missouri?? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,329767,00.html
It's a well known fact that most local government employees are striving solely for the approval of Gus. Why else would anyone do their job in a conscientous manner?
Those City guys are great .... especially the Code Enforcement Dudue who helped me get out of a snow drift ... he da' man! Snoozer
Dale Behm is the best Director ever. I think he has been working out.
It always helps the public works folks to have jerks in little red beetles driving around aimlessly getting in the way.
one out of the many posts by gus that he actually approves of the city and their work. they should be proud gus that they now have your approval for plowing streets.
Thank god Gus approves. I do wish that every inch of shoveled or plowed snow could be piled in Gus' driveway so his gay -yes gay -car couldn't move the rest of the winter.
