Re-writing history

You've heard of the Confederate Battle Flag bruhaha, right? And Fort Sumter, in Charleston, S.C.?

Well, read this USAToday article, dated Monday, June 29, 2015.

"Confederate flag taken down at Fort Sumter"

Next? Just wait for the U.S. Department of Education to order all references to the Civil War removed from textbooks in any schools that receive Federal funding.

It didn't really happen. You know that, don't you?

And that old photo of a Philpott ancestor in his Civil War uniform hanging over the mantle in a North Carolina home (the photo, not the ancestor)? It was just photo-shopped.
