NWH fails to report court decision against McClellan

So far, the Northwest Herald has not reported the court decision this week that blasted McHenry County Clerk Mary McClellan.

It appeared here and then on McHenry County Blog, where Cal Skinner was able to reproduce the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals (7th District) is its proper format.

But why would the Northwest Herald not deem that decision to be worth reporting? It would certainly seem that the major newspaper in the County would report on such an important decision.

There were harsh words about McClellan in that decision. Frankly, it makes me wonder how she got elected in 2014, since the matter was known at that time. Was she just lucky that the court action didn't make it into public view?

Read the decision here or on the McHenry County Blog and decide for yourself whether McClellan ought to be holding public office.
