Changing Minds Campaign, in collaboration with Jail Brakers and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation's Social Justice Committee is pleased to present A Day at Stateville, a play illustrating a newcomer's first day as an inmate at Stateville Correctional Facility, located at Crest Hill, Illinois.

This play was developed by inmates who are currently facing life
sentences without the possibility of parole. The play's objective is to inspire community leaders to take action to decrease the increasing number of youths entering the prisons and to advocate the improvement of prisons' current conditions.

The play will be presented at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road, McHenry, Illinois.  A musical performance by The Siblings will precede the program.
