A friend, Ken Rossignol (Titanic aficionado, mystery story writer, former publisher of St. Mary's Today newspaper), let me know of a creative writing contest for children ages 7-12. The contest is running now and ends February 26.
Molly & Carter's Creative writing contest is looking for stories told through the eyes of pets on board the Titanic.
So tell your kids and grandkids to stop fooling around with Facebook and put their talents to good use.
