Court Records now online

Public access court records for McHenry County 22nd Judicial Circuit Court are finally online. If you want to check the status of a case, you can do so from the comfort and convenience of your home or office computer, eliminating a trip or phone call to the court for much of the information.

Previously, you had to either telephone for limited information or make a trip to the courthouse to view these records. That, of course, meant parking and negotiating security just to get into the building.

Now you can go to www.mchenrycircuitclerk.org and access much, but not all, of the information. You can search by Case Number, Ticket Number, Party Name, or Business Name.

You can see past court dates, such as the numerous dates from the time a case was filed, through current court events, and learn the next court date for a case.

No doubt that it took considerable effort and expense to create this system, and thanks are due elected McHenry County Circuit Clerk Katherine M. Keefe. This system should eliminate many, many phone calls to court clerks for updates and next court dates.
