Lake Ave. crash snarls traffic

Traffic was a mess on Lake Avenue between Route 47 and Route 14 just after noon today, when a small white car rear-ended a pick-up truck. Woodstock Fire Rescue occupied the center, two-way, left-turn lane alongside the crash, reducing traffic to one lane.

Westbound traffic was backed up the Wal-Mart west entrance, and eastbound traffic was backed up almost to Route 47. The crash occurred just east of Woodstock Lumber in the westbound lane.
