I wish to thank the 121 McHenry County voters who pulled a Green Party ballot yesterday and cast their votes for me in the Sheriff's race. Your vote yesterday was important, and your votes and support is what will make it possible for me to win the General Election on November 2.
That 32% of the Republicans voted for Zane Seipler is proof that McHenry County residents are ready for a change in who sits in that office.
Over the next nine months I'll be providing plenty of reasons why Greens, Republicans, Democrats and Independents will vote for me on November 2.
Thank you once again. Tell your McHenry County friends to pay attention to this race and to remember what they hear and learn over the next nine months. Ask them to listen to and for the truth.

Well, after reading the Northworst Hurled this morning, all may not be lost.
It appears Nygren already has this race figured out. He wants his opposition to continue the attacks.
Boy Zane failed miserably at attacking Nygren. His attacks were quite limp-wristed. And again, who ever gave him the advice to litigate during a campaign, Zane should be forever happy.
Remember, when attacking the incumbent, make sure those attacks have teeth. And don't attack him everyday. Your goal is to make the attack so strong, he'll spend days defending it. It is ideal to launch attacks which make the opposition spend campaign cash.
Just some advice from someone who wiped out a three-term GOP Congressman a while back.
