Gun laws too lax?

Milwaukee's Mayor Tom Barrett is an idiot. "The gun laws are too lax in this state right now." That's the reason for the riots in Milwaukee that left five dead?

"No, Tom! It's the criminals who have guns because existing laws are not enforced."

But Uncle Tom will want to take guns away from law-abiding citizens as a solution. Illinois residents along the Illinois-Wisconsin "border" should join, an organization that actually does something to improve matters for responsible gun-owners.

And call or otherwise contact Barrett to tell him how wrong he is.

Phone: 414-286-2200
Fax: 414-286-3191

Look at the photos of the senseless burning and rioting. You can bet that Jesse Jackson will show up, and that Louis Farrakhan will, too. Will they calm things or make things worse?

Wisconsin is a state with open carry and concealed carry. Looks like law-abiding residents are going to need all the protection they can muster.

Not only is Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett an idiot, he also heads the largest polluter in the U.S, MMSD.

The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District is the largest polluter of the Great lakes and has been for over 40 years.

Do you have the hypnotic power to make Barrett drink the MMSD discharge water?

Ok , I know you don't.

As you already know, the real trick of blogging is to move citizens into action to correct the subject matter we blog about, and that power is usually derived in the form of voting.

Voting is where most of our power is at, so I strive to move readers to use the power of the vote to correct social issues. Your statement that you received 5% of the vote running for sheriff already informs me you understand that power.

I guess somebody has to police the traffic police, and you chose that as one of many of your apparent passions, but minor offenses of traffic laws are sideshows, are victimless crimes..... and pale in importance to more critical issues as government subverting an individuals rights, or abusing the powers of government office.

Most of my mentors are dead, so memory and history guides me in the the focus of my blogs, with an occasional rant or two.

I often act upon the spirit of Martin Niemoller writings.

Much of my blogging involves the criminals in government, the abuses of power and miscarriages of justice.

Carry on the good fight!

Thanks for writing. Maybe Tom HAS been drinking the sewage; errr, water.

You're right about moving citizens to action. Unfortunately, most just want to gripe but not stick their necks out.
