Palin vs. Biden

You'll watch to set your VCRs (you remember those things, don't you?) early to record Thursday night's Vice-Presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden.

I read yesterday that Sarah is at McCain's Sedona house (one of the seven that he can't remember?) attending Debate Camp.

If you missed the Saturday Night Live skit with the take-off on Sarah Palin, be sure to go to http://www.hulu.com/watch/36863/saturday-night-live-couric--palin-open and watch it. Tina Fey is hilarious!

When you are done laughing at that, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8__aXxXPVc&feature=bz301 and listen to Jack Cafferty comment on Sarah Palin's answer to Katie Couric about the bail-out (before Monday's vote). His opinion? "Pathetic."

No question at all about what you have written, except why post it off-topic to the original?

The point here was whether Palin is qualified to serve as President, if the need arose. Or whether she is even qualified to serve as Vice-President. Her head is being stuffed with material for Thursday night. She doesn't seem to know much first-hand.

I don't think I want those fingernails ready to put the button that sends us into a nuclear war.

If Palin's not qualified then neither is Obama.

Now that's what I call really clear, logical thinking.

Got it. You're staunchly anti-republican. Better dig out your press credentials and start up the legitimate "news" stories.

A prominent Republican here in McHenry County asked me not to give up on the GOP. It's hard not to. I voted Republican for 40 years. George W. Bush has adversely affected my willingness to continue supporting the Republican Party.

Today I examine the candidates' position more carefully than I ever have.

Perhaps you have not read the negative reviews of Mrs. Palin by conservative Republicans. I'm sure she is a very nice person AND she is not qualified to serve as Vice-President or President, should that be required. Perhaps this country will some day learn exactly why John McCain picked her.

I don't have to dig out my Press Pass. I know exactly where it is.

That was meant for a post two down, never hit the comment form again.

What do you need to do to be qualified for V.P. or even Pres.?Obama only has legislative experience. He hasn't even finished one term in the US Senate before looking to the Presidentcy. Of all three, Biden, Obama, and McCain, Palin is the only one with Executive experience. Biden and McCain have even run for President several times before and lost in the Primaries. Ever hear of "Sloppy Seconds"

And NOBODY goes to Washington knowing everything (or even something) about everything. They all has staff that deal with their respective issues and breif their respective people. Then those peoplr go out before the Public and look really really smart.

I seem to recall Biden back in the debates for the Primaries saying that Obama was not ready for the Presidency.
